Thursday 30th May – Sunday 2nd June

Hi,

On Thursday we may see some early light rain which will turn showery but this should clear during the day to give some brightness and temperatures around 16’C.

Friday should start dry but patchy rain is expected later but most places will stay dry and cloudy. In any bright spells it will feel warmer as temperatures creep up slightly. 18’C.

Saturday will be cooler than Friday and during the day there could be a rogue sharp shower around but generally, cloudy again with some bright spells. 14’C.

As the weekend progresses we see high pressure trying to build from the south-west, so Sunday should be largely dry with bright spells and in any sunshine feel quite pleasant. Highs of 16’C.

Looking ahead it does look like we will see a few days of dry weather with warm sunshine, with 20’C possible but there is an uncertainty of how long this settled weather will last.

Monday 20th May to Friday 24th May

Monday starts cloudy with possible drizzle. Brighter later and feeling warm. The warmth may trigger a thunderstorm over the Pennines. 18’C

Tuesday a generally cloudy and dry day. Bit cooler and maybe some rain overnight and into Wednesday. 15’C

Wednesday sees light rain spreading south and turning cooler with a northerly wind. 14’C

Thursday and Friday look like cool days with some bright spells and generally dry. Friday may start with a ground frost! Feeling cold in a brisk northerly wind. 12’C

Looks dry into the weekend but after a cool start it may turn milder by the Bank Holiday. A long way off so keep up to date with @ChadWeather.

Enjoy your week!
