Hi all,
We’ve had a dreadful month but finally some long-awaited warmth is on the way. Not completely dry but a lift in temperature was long overdue. I did wonder if we would see 20°C before May is out.
** UV levels are now HIGH so don’t forget sun-cream regardless of what the temperature is. **
Thursday: A lovely late-Spring day with plenty of sunny spells. Feeling warm after the dire conditions of late. Max 19°C
Friday: A weak weather-front will bring some light rain and drizzle for the morning. Staying mostly cloudy for the afternoon but turning drier. Max 17°C
Long Weekend: A session in the garden is in order!
Saturday: A cloudy start likely, then the strong sunshine will break the cloud up and warm sunny spells will develop. Light winds. Just the chance of an isolated shower, especially to the west. Max 19°C
Sunday: Looks a great day! BBQ me up! Any early mist clears to sunny skies. Feeling very warm with little or no wind and finally we meet that temperature target. UV levels up to 7! Max 21°C

Bank Holiday Monday – Looks like more of the same for the morning but cloud could thicken towards the west later turning the sunshine hazy. Max 21°C

Outlook: Some uncertainty as to what happens from Tuesday. Low pressure tries to come in from the northwest, bringing cooler conditions once more and showers. But, at this stage, the latest prediction is that high pressure could remain in control, just, to the south and west and the week turns out to stay settled with temperatures in the late-teens although it could be quite breezy. All to play for so stay tuned via Twitter, @ChadWeather.
Thanks,
Jon
